For English class, what I have been doing and has been working well, is drawing a picture on my ipad+printing them out for each vocabulary. It is definitely time-consuming to make, but the students seem to be very intrigued by the drawings, which really does help them remember. I tape the drawings on the whiteboard and point to the pictures, asking about what they see. After that I write the vocab, have them repeat 3 times and spell 3 times–go through all the vocabs this way and after that is a family feud style game divided into two teams.

Nothing too creative, but it has been working for quite a while now.
I am also looking for new English vocab activity ideas for next week and forward so if you have any, please share!
    Thank you.

    Cafeteria:

Assist BPS site supervisors to facilitate snack distribution and student direction
Take attendance and notify BPS site supervisors about bus students
      Never leave students unattended
Direct and help students clean up after themselves before moving to classroom areas
Students should be led to the classroom from the cafeteria in a single file, quiet line

    Classroom:

      Never leave students unattended
Students must stay engaged at all times inside classrooms
Accompany students or stand in the hallway when they change classrooms
Classrooms must be left in original condition; Clean up before you leave and be especially careful about teachers’ areas
No food/drink in the classroom other than water (applied to teachers and students)
No hoods/hats allowed in the building

    Dismissal:

Accompany students to the pick-up area and stay with them until pick-up
Ensure bus students are escorted to bus area

    Restroom:

Only one student per class may use the facilities at once (1 boys’, 1 girls’)
2-minute time limit unless specified to teacher
Students should sign out in order to use restrooms (first and last names and the time in and out)
